This Reps Air Jordan1 “LA to Chicago” was originally spotted on the feet of Nike SB team rider Theotis Beasley that comes in a Los Angeles Lakers color scheme. It features a White leather toe box side panels with Purple trimming along the toe, eyelets heel, Yellow on the Swoosh logos collar. Much like previous Nike SB releases, this one will have a wear away design that looks to have a Chicago-like scheme underneath. Arriving in a Los Angeles Lakers inspired colour scheme, the AJ1 works on a clean white base with purple accents featuring throughout. A dash of gold also makes its presence known around the ankle on the Swoosh logos. Now, from a distance, these may look like a normal release, but the colour on the Jordan 1 x Nike SB Purple Gold actually wears away over time to reveal a Chicago-like palette underneath! This colorway pays homage to the legendary matchup through a Court Purple University Gold scheme on the leather upper that wears away to reveal red black alternate hues. Lateral Swooshes, a Wings logo nylon tongue fall in line with the original look.
